The Marvel Comics icon had some serious health problems this week.
TMZ Stan Lee was reportedly taken to Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, California on January 31, 2018. According to the report, he had difficulty breathing and an irregular heartbeat.
Fortunately, Lee seems to be doing well. A representative of the 95-year-old told TMZ Lee was “fine and he felt good” and noted that he would stay in the hospital for a few days, “as a safety measure for some checkups.”
Lee has since been released from the hospital. In a Skype interview with local ABC news broadcaster KABC in Los Angeles on Thursday February 1, Lee said, “I just want to tell you that I feel great.”
“I thought a little investigation wasn’t bad for me. And it actually turned out to be pretty good and brought me a lot of advertising, ”he joked. “I feel good now and can’t wait to get in there and measure myself against the competition.”
Lee, whose wife Joan passed away in July 2017, added: “It’s nice to know that somewhere in the world there are still people who care what I say or do.”
